Using the most up-to-date technology, Smart Solar maximises this energy-harvest, utilising it intelligently to achieve full charge in the shortest possible time. Smart Solar maintains battery health, extending its life.Features:Bluetooth smart built in enables set-up, monitoring, updating and synchronisation with a smart phone or other Bluetooth enabled device.VE. Direct allows wired data connection to a Color Control GX, other GX products, PC or other devices.Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Especially in case of a cloudy sky, when brightness is changeable, the MPPT will improve the harvesting of energy by up to 30% compared to PWM controllers.Load output will disconnect the load when the battery has been discharged to a pre-set voltage.Battery life algorithm will monitor the state of charge of the battery and, if needed, day by day slightly increase the load disconnect level until the harvested solar energy is sufficient to recharge the battery to near 100%Over-temperature protection and power de-rating when temperature is high.A BMV battery monitor can be used to communicate battery voltage & temperature to one or more SmartSolar Charge ControllersSpecification:Battery voltage (auto select): 12/24Rated charge current: 50ANominal PV power, 12V: 700WNominal PV power, 24V: 1400WMax.
